Go to CS counter. Have the SKU you want to get ready as they will need it. Ask them for a raincheck of that SKU and how many you want of it. They will take your name and phone number over to the computer, type all that info in and then print out a page for you.
Basically it just prints a page saying to sell X number of SKU 123456 to you (the name on the sheet) for price $XX.YY.
The printed page will be dated but I don't know if stores stick to that hard date of whether the raincheck actually expires in X amount of days.
When you go to use the sheet when the item is in stock, any till trained employee should know what to do, but it may depend on the store and their training.
