Will we be seeing a merchandising strategy similar to Animated with Prime, where the line was marketed alongside merchandise for the 1st movie and ROTF, or will the focus be on the upcoming DOTM movie to avoid self-competing brand lines?
During the Beast Wars era, the costliness of developing a great number of character models in CGI likely had some influence in the relatively small cast of the show, and the choice of which characters eventually made an appearance. Now that technology has advanced significantly, is this still an issue? Has it already had some effect (Cliffjumper, Decepticon drones, for example), or is the sky the limit in a technological sense for how many characters (and who) can appear?
