The price drop probably means the units aren't selling as well as they thought they would so they lowered the price to get 'em out of the way for more Christmas stock.
I almost bought one on-line at that price just now (~$45 CAD after getting gouged by the BC-HST) but I wasn't sure if I really wanted one or I just think I want one. I opted to pass but if anyone without a membership wants one in the Vancouver area just PM me and I'll help you out at no added cost.
