Got quite a few favorite characters among the various generations/eras.

4-way tie for top: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Soundwave, Grimlock
Second 4-way tie: Jetfire, Starscream, Shockwave, Bumblebee
Rounding out the top 20: Jazz, Prowl, Mirage, Perceptor, Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Ravage, Laserbeak, Astrotrain, Blitzwing, Reflector, Cyclonus
Beast Era: Pretty much like 'em all, but Dinobot stands out.
RiD '01: Probably Scourge.
Unicron Trilogy: Probably Sideways, preferably his Armada version.
Live-action movies: Bumblebee, with an additional nod to Lockdown.
Animated: Damn, hard to pick just one; they were pretty much all good.
"Aligned" Continuity: Probably WFC Grimlock and TF Prime Predaking.
