TFcon 2014 Guest Request thread

'Idea' threads for TFcon 2014 have already started, but didn't see one for guest requests yet.

Seeing that it's the 30th Anniversary of Transformers, having a group of guests from the very first TF series - G1- seems natural and is my suggestion.

TFcon does repeat guests, so I would LOVE to see

MICHAEL BELL

again. He was last here 2007, so it's been a while, and his G1 voice credits are probably the most out of everyone. Seeing that the convention is shared with the 80's toy expo, and Bell has a HUGE resume across a bunch of 80's cartoons, this guest in my opinion is exciting and gives the most 'bang for your buck', and fitting for such a celebration.

Other guest suggestions (ones that have never appeared at TFcon) and would go great with Michael Bell (and also have a bunch of 80's cartoon credits to their name) are:

ALAN OPPENHEIMER - Beachcomber, Breakdown, Seaspray, Warpath

BUD DAVIS - Dirge, Metroplex, Predaking

COREY BURTON - Shockwave, Sunstreaker, Wideload, Spike, Brawn, Vector Sigma

ED GILBERT - Blitzwing, Superion, Thrust

HAL RAYLE- Shrapnel, Snarl, Pipes, Primacron

JOHN STEPHENSON - Alpha Trion, Huffer, Kup, Thundercracker, Windcharger

LAURIE FASO - Divebomb, Rampage, Skydive

From the print media side, getting SIMON FURMAN again because of his extensive work with G1 from the beginning to present day, seems like a great fit.

And from a toy engineering side, I know it's probably a difficult request, but having a designer that had a hand in creating some of the G1 figures would be awesome.
