Bit of an update.
The Krylon spray didn't work:
- If I follow the directions, it frosts the glass.
- If I spray enough to make it clear, it runs.
- Even if it doesn't run, it distorts whatever is behind the glass.
In conclusion, the window film is the only option. I hope the ones I buy from China works...
