For an online purchase, you have to buy the product online and then bring the receipt with your raincheck to customer service at any store and they will refund you the difference.
HOWEVER, they might take into account that you would have no longer gotten free shipping if the deal you get brings you under the treshold, and you might have to pay extra. I heard that happen once, years ago.
