I know it used to be 15 days but it may have moved to 45 days for price adjustments. So if I buy a figure for 39.99 and two weeks later it's 29.99, they will credit the difference (either gift card, your creditcard, cash or debit) When I do this I put it on a gift card...gonna use it sometime anyway.
Not sure about Walmarts policy on that. I've used the TRU one plenty of times.
