Re: Metal Earth - 3D Metal Model Kit - Optimus Prime Review

after finishing Optimus, I suggest to purchase a cheaper one for practice. The instructions do not take into account any kind of error. Folding and refolding damages even cause parts to fall off. It requires the most delicate touch. Which makes it quite challenging since it's super tiny.

For cylindrical parts the tool box would help greatly. His tiny smoke stacks will roll into shape then can easily be pulled out from a small nail.

I suggest for a lot parts to be assembled before folding (as much as you can of course). This eliminates folding and refolding.

Yeah. This type of project is a learn and feel as you go so again practice on a cheaper one first.

Other than that, this kit is pretty frustrating but rewarding in the end.
