Memory, but I KNOW I bought several for $20 canadian at Walmart. Cos I only ever bought three at retail, those being Hound, Tracks, and Dead End.

But I think that was also a case of Alternators not being a super successful line.

I dunno. I fully understand that shit costs more, a lot more, than when Classics first dropped over ten years ago. And it's certainly going to cost a lot more than Beast Wars in 96.

WWE toys are 20 bucks for a basic hung of plastic, the articulated ones are thirty. Marvel Legends are toys that once cost like, 12 bucks and THAT seemed expensive. The high end, 6" figures with piles of articulation are expensive.

But thirty dollars for a deluxe Transformer is simply too much for me to stomach. I'm not generally interested in the Siege stuff beyond the Micromasters and Brunt, and I'm not the collector I once was. But the entire "see it the in the store, what the fuck, impulse buy" factor is GONE at those prices.
