I'm kinda surprised this is news.
EB Games and Gamestop are the same place and have been for quite some time. When I preordered mine from EBGames around two months ago now, they told me that it would come wtih Shockwave as a preorder bonus and I would get the code when I picked up the game.
Best Buy would be doing the same thing. you'll pick up your code when you pick up the game.
