That Crankcase as Inferno is just jaw dropping! Who'd have thought? The giant mandibles just scream fire ant! The fact that they can be deployed in vehicle mode makes it all the better.
Don't worry about the movie aesthetic here, it actually lends itself very well to Inferno. The insectoid look of the movie line really goes a long way in pushing the homage. I was playing around with the idea of DOTM Skyhammer as Inferno, but this is
much better!
Even Crankcase's mechtech weapon looks a lot like Inferno's iconic flamethrower. You've struck gold here, bud.
Oh, and don't worry about the head. It actually kinda looks like transmetal Scavenger's head, and let's face it, he was supposed to be Inferno anyway.
I think you single handedly sold me on Crankcase, because I wanna go out and buy him right now!
