I also have the MP AND the Power of the Primes Grimlock, but I'm still getting this one because I love Grimbo.
But also because it seems to scale a bit better with most of my other chug figures than my MP.
Also Slag/Slug is rumored to be coming as well so all the Dinobots will eventually I'd hope. With the exception of maybe Snarl. More reason to get the 86 Grimlock so the MP doesn't make em look too small!
