Officially, Star Saber was part of G1. Albeit, not North American G1, he is still G1 none-the-less. He was obviously considered a major G1 character in Japan, seeing his MP was fan-chosen and beat out epic other leader versions of Prime, including G1 Powermaster (Ginrai), Optimus Primal, Armada, Energon, and RiD Primes, plus some other characters too.

I feel the fans picked a great choice but I do think it would be very cool to have an Armada Prime (Micron Densetsu Convoy). W/ The variant inevitable Nemesis for sure. Would be nice to know that there aren't arc line limitations.
