If only it was TDW. Their upgrade kit is arguably as good if not better than PE and it is cheaper. I believe you need two different sets from PE to complete Volcanicus.

I don't know. That seems a lot to ask for. The ticket + flight + hassle to bring stuff across boarder.

TRU has the winter coupon valid until end of march. By then I think TRU will always be a better choice price-wise.

I heard some Mastermind Toys have them in stock. And the retail price is $3.99 instead of the crazy $4.99 for S1.

Great summary! I also only collect the line you mentioned. But still, I have grown the habit of only buying when on sale from collecting LEGO. It is true for some figures if you missed you won't get...

Do you guys just buy TF at retail prices? I almost always buy them when they are on sale. The only one I paid full retail price is Seaspray which is $15 after tax. Right now it is only $6 on Amazon....

Yeah I know. I even saw the TRU Canada website showing the voyagers being 29.99. But they just got removed recently from the website and TRU US just got them in stock with a price tag of $29.99 USD....

It seems voyager class POTP figures will be 39.99 in Canada, as they are 29.99 in the US, same as movie 5 figures. Way overpriced in my opinion.

I saw some TRU has Overlord, Octone, Blitzwing and even Slugslinger in stock. I wonder when will lower mainland TRU have them in store.

I typically buy transformers from TRU instead of Walmart...

KO version is also on its way. There has been some so called leaked version in early September that were sold for ~$70 CAD in China and the quality was actually almost indistinguishable from...

I just bought something from ebay shipped from China. Hopefully there wont be any import tax. One reason I dont use ebay that much is because of the ridiculous shipping fee and unpredictable import...

It is Hasbro version. Chinese online shopping website taobao.com was celebrating a 9.9 (September 9th) shopping festival and they have crazy deals. Someone got 5 combiner wars Onslaught for $31 CAD...

I got 3 of them for $87 each including tax (10% off week + buy two get one for free coupon). Held them for a few days and still felt they are too expensive and returned them :(
