Platinum Predaking arrived yesterday.

Wow -- MUCH nicer than I would have expected. I've never owned a Predaking and I've never seen one in person but man this guy is great. Each of the...

Re: Display Cases

I've been using book cases I've gotten from Kent Building Supplies, but I'd like to get some glass encased ones -- like store display cases.

Favorite G1 Cartoon Character

Curious what other folks' favorite G1 cartoon character was when they were a kid.

Was just thinking to myself what that might say about someone :)

Re: TFs getting too hard to transform?

Just trying to think of some of the larger, more complicated G1 figures we had as kids...

Most complicated I can think of is Omega Supreme, only because you had to dismantle him. Still, it...

Re: TFs getting too hard to transform?

I think Animated felt just about right. They pulled out some very nice, show accurate figures with what I felt was just about the right level of difficulty. The transformations were fun, sometimes...

Re: TFs getting too hard to transform?

This is how I felt with TF:Prime Arcee. Her feet are VERY stiff. I thought for sure I must have been doing something wrong and hated forcing and potentially snapping the feet (especially since she...

Arcee is VERY hard to find (shortpacked - boo). Bee is more common.

All three are excellent. Packaging is nice. Inside the box is a little cardboard...

TFs getting too hard to transform?

Since the Beast Wars era, Transformers have been getting more and more advanced in terms of engineering. As a result, we've been seeing some pretty tricky transformations. The movie figures and...

Best way to turf your collection

I've been giving some serious thought to getting "mostly" out of collecting Transformers. I'm considering selling off most of my collection, keeping only my G1, Reissues and Masterpiece figures.

Re: Nintendo 3DS

It's probably not a bad idea to wait. I've heard a few reports of issues folks have had - dead pixels, extremely limited view angle, floppy hinges, broken circle pad. I've had none of these...

Re: Nintendo 3DS

Picked up a 3DS yesterday (I'm an early adopter and I usually end up paying for us every time).

I picked up a black one. It's sharp looking with a bit of silver through it. The system itself is...
