That's weird, normally Amazon US adds the appropriate taxes for shipments to Canada (though it often refunds a few dollars a month or two later).

Check to see if the seller is actually Amazon, and...

There are several options you can choose for the return reason that give free return shipping. The ones I use most often are "quality insufficient" (or whatever) and "not compatible or not useful"...

I did once, but it took some explaining (CA-NA-DA, it's a different country…), and it's unclear if they would normally refund the shipping, or if they only did it that time because it was their fault...

Pitney Bowes has two levels of "Delivered."

First it gets delivered to their forwarding centre in the US where they do the customs stuff, and use the package as a soccer ball for a few days before...
