Re: Repair Thread
Anyone know how to repair some dark scratches on white plastic? I was going to try Hydrogen Peroxide, but I'm not sure if it'll work.
The scratches look like mini number/pound (#) symbols.

Re: Repair Thread
Thanks chans. Looks like it'll be an expensive job to clean up :(
What will the fine grit polish do exactly? It sounds like the rubbing alcohol will be damaging the plastic? I hope not...

Although not quite repairing, I'm trying to get rid of dried liquid paper and permanent markers on a few G1 figures.
The liquid paper is on a Reflector and the permanent marker is on a Leozack.

Re: Repair Thread
I tried. It's totally jammed. I managed to push it back into the original part of the joint though.
I dunno, I might have warped (bent) the bar slightly or expanded the head after trying to push...

Re: Repair Thread
Thanks TTT, unfortunately this direction I'm pulling it out IS the easier way. Sadly I tried the other way before hand, and this process might have expended the head of the other end. I'm gonna dip a...

Re: Repair Thread
I'm currently trying to remove a peg from a wing flap, but it's rusty and it's jammed.
I'm using a small nail and hammer to hit the peg off, but now it seems to be totally jammed. Any tips?

There is a customizing/kitbashing/repair sub forum though, this thread should shortly be moved there.

Re: Repair Thread
Hey, does anyone have any suggestions on how to clean up the metal parts of a G2 Devastator? I don't want to use a really harsh chemical or anything, but there's this possible oxidation on the metal...
