TJ Duckett took some pics of them on display at TFcon; I'll have to get them off of him.

Needless to say they all went into the live auction, and did fairly well - I can't remember the price tags...

Check a comic shop. The Wreckers wave got distributed by Diamond last week; if there's a nearby comic shop that orders Transformers they might have one.

We're putting these into the TFcon charity auction, actually. Removes the complicated step of actually getting the auction up, plus then people get to see what they're bidding on.

I have to say too, it's interesting what kind of a difference having a desk lamp as you work makes.

Helps bring out where you need an extra coat of paint when normal light won't.

And here's the latest update for Tankor - all that remains now is to let stuff dry a bit more, then do some of the harder detailing like the stripes on his shoulders/touchups.

Oh, definitely. I'm gonna be bidding on these guys for sure, myself. Even if I don't win them, it still means that more money than I was prepared to spend is going to charity.

Tankor's the third party Hardbone figure - it's about Voyager-sized.

Expensive custom, but I went "dammit all, if I make Tankor I need to do him RIGHT and give him some height."

So I thought I'd throw up a couple WIP shots so far, now that I've gone further with my painting on Tankor.

HOLY CRAP. That head is AMAZING.

And yeah, Otis - that's just the head that comes with Hardbone that I painted up like Tankor/Rhinox.

I need to grab a few more paints this week to get more work...
