Re: Adult Lego Fans

I'm buying some stuff. Some of it hits me just right, some of it looks silly. The hover horses are awesome. I'm looking forward to the volcano lair in the summer wave. That looks fun.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I honestly don't know. Maybe with the Constraction stuff they just didn't have the license then but do now? I won't sit here and defend Lego all day and say there's nothing wrong how it looks like...

Re: Adult Lego Fans

Same thing happened with the Helicarrier. It sucks, sure, but I'd bet Lego was already developing and designing their own versions during the review process and that's why it was rejected. I'm not...

Re: Adult Lego Fans

It looks beautiful. Especially in those outdoor shots with the actual building. I just don't think I'm enough of a Ghostbusters fan to buy it.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I thought they discontinued bump codes. This was one of the easier series to feel out.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I have, honestly, never had that problem. Then again I don't have any kids.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I think it looks good. One of the only sets from the wave that's worth buying I think.

Force Awakens Lego or We Hope You Like Grey.

Some vehicles look neat but the prices are stop me dead in my tracks. The Falcon and the speeder bike are the only maybes for me. I do however like...

Re: Adult Lego Fans

For those prices, those sets better be amazing. I am tempted to save my VIP points for the Falcon but until I see it I won't know for sure.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I won't cast off this set based on that image but I don't like it so far. I'll wait until I see better images.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

Lego has a thing against depictions of alcohol in modern day situations. The only exception I can think of off the top of my head was the Valentine's seasonal set (40120 I think) and even then, that...

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I've been kind of back and forth on the new Pirates theme. I wanted the ship but wasn't entirely thrilled with it. Then I remembered I had the pirate ship from 1993 which is apparently one of the...

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I dont plan on getting it myself but I tend to agree. It's less of a cantina scene and more of a mishmash of Mos Eisley stuff. It's great that they did a dewback and a new landspeeder but I'd have...

That UCS Tie Fighter (http://brickset.com/article/14207/ucs-tie-fighter-unveiled-at-ny-toy-fair) just looks so.....so much like a Tie Fighter?

Re: Adult Lego Fans

That's definitely exciting but not unexpected I feel. I am curious to see what brick built items we get besides a Tardis.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I'm in Ontario too and every online order has come from the US. They've all entered the country through Mississauga (probably because of the airport) but originate from a suburb of Nashville I...

Re: Adult Lego Fans

Even though it's priced exactly where I thought it would be and looks amazing, the Slave 1 is definitely out of my budget. Maybe in a year things will be better financially because it looks so good.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I showed the Tumbler to a friend at work that isn't into Lego or even toys really but she's a big Batman fan and seemed unusually excited at the prospect of getting this.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I saw them in the Sherway Gardens Lego Store last time I was in. I'd never seen them there before but they'd also just put out all the new summer stock so I guess it's new.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

Ouch. I can't imagine that'd be so bad for a couple $25 sets but I doubt that's what you're talking about. I tend to disassemble my sets by bag number and then I label the bags for ease of...
