I assume once he gets the chargeback he'll be provided with your CC number and transaction dates and amounts. Should be a simple matter to then look into his system to find out which customer...

Give him a week. Send a follow up. As long as you're not close to your cut off date with Paypal or your CC.

The more evidence you can provide that you tried to work it out the easier it will be...

I didn't have a chargeback with NMC (luckily he was already horrible when I first saw his store) but I did recently do it for some preorders I made through Nippon-Yasan.

As far as I can see, if your purchase is over $50, you are protected by the Consumer Protection Act (https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/02c30) in Ontario.
