Mine had the stress marks out of package for one of the hands and as soon as I popped the sword in to the other one, instant stress mark. I was really careful too, but obviously not... My solution was to shave a SMALL dip in center of the sword's handle, so when she's holding them, there's no stress on the thumb. You don't have to take off much, but if...
