Underrated Figures
 

DOTM Sky-Hammer. This guy has maintained a prime (no pun intended) spot on the collection shelf despite a lot of "challengers" in the years since I got 'im... I dunno - I just think this guy is pretty slick:

I always thought Animated Wreck Gar doesn't get enough love. That might be my single favorite Transformer to absent-mindedly fiddle with.

MP Grimlock. Everyone rages about FT Grinder, but MP Grimlock is my most transformed figure I've ever owned.
He comes off the shelf all the time and he's just fin to flip back n forth

I have an affinity for figures with unusual alt modes. The Bayverse movies have actually produced a good number of these that I couldn't pass up, like TF1 Ejector, ROTF Ice Cream Twins, ROTF Ransack, and AOE Dispensor. They're just a lot of fun.

Sure, everyone digs on Grinder - and it certainly has alotta "presence" (esp Dino Mode) - but I didn't think MP Grim wasn't still widely revered.

...and if I am wrong in that - then I am in complete agreement. I certainly think Grinder is great - but, honestly, robo-mode was a bit of a let down for me: Hence - Grinder stays in dino-mode, with MP Grimlock the definitive robo-mode representation front and center on the display rack.

I agree. Skyhammer is awesome. Pistol sideswipe I'd also up there as an amazing figure. And I'm adding the Mike's tow truck to the list ad an underrated great figure. As long as you undo the screw holding his cannon to his arm that is.
