Just thought this might be a neat little thread to help give some more 2015 hype. Hoping this thread will continue with 2015 stories too. So basically just post some of your best/ fondest stories/ memories from TFCons past!

A lot of my favourite memories/ stories come from my very first TFCon in 2010. I had never been to a convention before, let alone a transformers themed one and I remember what it felt like to enter the dealer room for the first time. It was like that moment in Willy Wonka in the Chocolate Factory where they all enter the room where things are made of candy for the first time. XDFelt really overwhelmed and couldn't wait to see every detail of that dealer room!

Another great memory comes from that same year. We were going up to meet David Kaye (really wish he would be re-invited one of these eyars) andit was our first time meeting a voice actor. He was just really kind and made our first guest meet a really good experience. I remember going back to have him sign something the next day and he actually remembered my name! Was really impressed by that! To this day, he's the only voice actor I've met who has ever remembered my name. :)

Wish I could say I've been part of the stories where Gary Chalk had pulled out his guitar in the bar... but sadly I seemed to have missed that everytime it happened! XD

I went to the 4th TFCon (2005 I think? It was TransformersCon then) not really knowing what it was.

I came back for the 10th in 2011 and it was great to see how much it had grown!

I'll try to streamline a few thoughts by year for the two times I have attended:

2011 - Meeting all the staff that I met online through this site in person was fun, putting names to faces, all that. Hugs from GMFan101.

Hanging out at the parts party with Leozak on the Friday night.

The dealer room was astounding to someone like myself who had never seen 100 plus tables of just Transformers merch before.

2013: I went the first time with my family, but this second time I went with friends from the local Transformers community which made the whole trip a different experience.

BENZO FTW!!!!!!!!!! :p More hugs from GMFan101 :p

I got to help judge the Cosplay contest in 2013, cool experience. Also getting a Chansformers Soundwave in the Charity auction was fun.

Repping Manitoba in Faction Feud, with little result :p

Dinner on Saturday with Guber, Ninjatron, Benzo, Tony & Villimus Prime - and fitting us all in Tony's car to drive to the restaurant was an experience unto itself :p

Hitting up Marvin Mariano's tattoo shop in Pacific Mall after TFcon was also fun.

2015- Vendoring this year, so that promises to be exciting!

This year will actually be my first ever tfcon. Not my first convention however as I've been to anime north twice and if that's anything to go by on account of how much fun I had there, this should be a blast. My goal is to find the combiner bits for my Abominus. *fingers crossed*

There's a dealer there every year with tons of parts for g1, you'll find what you need.

I got tons of stories....but still doesn't compare to when I was at the bar in 2012 and I heard someone do a Waspinator voice right beside me. Thought it was Tekno, turned and saw it was Scotty. Nearly fell backward in surprise :p

I think I ended up drinking and shooting the slag with him for a good half hour. .....couldn't drink water the next day from the hangover :raisetheroof:
