MP Corydon

So, uh, has anybody gotten this yet with all the postal delays and garbage?

I paid my invoice to A3U on October 18 and nothing has happened yet in regards to shipping notifications. Which is a bit unfortunate, but I can only presume that the item in question is delayed because of the rotational strikes going on with Canada Post.

It makes for a rather frustrating development.

Er, well, I'm pretty sure it is. The Sunstreaker Diaclone Repaint.

Yeah, well A3U is a site sponsor and my experience with them so far is pretty good. Just commenting on the frustrations more than likely caused by Canada Post and such as the item in question was paid to avoid delays and it seems to be suffering from delays despite the services offered.

Cordon for the record

My bad. Cordon then... Not sure why I added the Y like that.

Still, you guys getting them direct from Asia seems to not be having any issues despite Canada Post's on-going problems. Makes it more annoying that in-country businesses are suffering so much because of this BS, why the hell can't they sort out their problems? Job safety is a huge concern from what I understand, yet the folks running the show don't seem to be as invested in procuring decent safety assurances compared to the employees.

Re: MP Corydon

It sounds fancier with the Y

I wonder if the lag is the retailer getting the shipment then fullfilling all the orders and shipping them all at once. I see the canada post truck at A3U loading a ton of boxes all at once so maybe they don't ship daily.

I have no idea, but it makes about as much sense as anything else.

Still I don't recall it taking this long to get my shipping notification once I paid for Fans' Toys Rouge earlier in the Spring.

EDIT: In fact it took 9 days between invoice payment and when the item shipped.

Got a shipment last week including Cordon from AmiAmi in Japan. They shipped it almost right after it was released. They used DHL though since it was cheaper than EMS for some reasons.

The postal strike might not have a big impact to you if the rotating strike does not hit your area by the time your parcel arrived.
