"Anime" Aesthetics

I keep hearing this a lot from Vangelus and Kuma Style during their reviews, more specifically when people compare figures like combiners.

I can see the differences between something like Quantron and Warbotron but what exactly is the definition for "anime aesthetic"? Or at least what is the general definition that everyone seems to agree on :P

Re: "Anime" Aesthetics

A lot of people use the term anime when referring to G1 cartoon aesthetic. I personally relate anime with japanimation type of material like cartoon characters with big eyes and emo look. Although I would say the G1 Victory and Masterforce are very "anime" to me too.

I think anything that has similar characteristics to Gundam or Japanese Mecha anime designs... That's my definition
