Assembly Errors

I just got Leader Movie Prime today, thanks CJ, and I noticed something odd. I compared it to the movie render and found the error. On the upper arms, the screws are pointing out. On most toys the screws are ment to be hidden. It's avery simple error, but basically what's wrong is the upper arms are on the wrong side. It's an easy fix, 4 screws on each arm, and you're done.

Does the error damage or stop the toy from doing something it should?

Probably not, but it doesn't look right at all.

someone had posted this same thing on tfw2005, don't know if it was also you. I might switch mine up if I get bored/get the time.

Doesn't disrupt transformation either way. I did not post that.

What doesn't look right? the fixed arm, or the non fixed?

What'd you do there, flip the pivoting part?

Re: Assembly Errors

i've been noticing things like this on other toys lately. my titanium g1 ultra magnus actually had an extra part inside his torso which was preventing some articulation and transformation motions.

after the partendectomy, magnus is fine.

other assembly errors
- Armada Supercon Optimus Prime repaints (guantlets on the wrong arms)
- BW10th Rhinox (upper arms on the opposite sides)
- Armada Optimus Prime and repaints (right arm articulation in super mode)
- Megazone 23 Garland (okay, an isolated incident, but on a masterpiece style figure i was surprised that they put the neck assembly backwards, making it a pain to transform)

there are others, but these are ones i've had firsthand experience with, and for all except for the last two, fixed.

unfortunatally it's not a simple flip, you need to remove the upper arm from the forearm and shoulder and switch the left for the right.

Non-fixed, hence the fixing.
