G1 Trypticon - What am I missing?

So I'm strolling a flea market today in Toronto (Mississauga) and I find a G1 Trypticon!
I was like this can't be real. I grabbed it down from the shelf and didn't have a clue what it could do or anything but switched it on by accident. There it goes moving its arms and legs! Even the lil cannon lit up too! Stickers aren't too bad - shoulder cannons a lil dirty but he'll clean up real nice :)

I haven't changed it to city mode yet, don't want to start pulling at parts without at least an inkling of where to start.

Right off the bat, I know I'm missing the right track to the cannon.
And from what I can see online some radar bits and possibly some ramps.

Tell me what to do next and I'll take pics and we can walk through it together :)

Here's the first pic

Turn it around and check if you have the battery cover. Also check on the unerside of his tail, to see if you have the ramp and guns.

The ramps and radar bits don't have anywhere to go in his alt mode, so they're probably definitely missing. That and Full Tilt's gun.

To transform, basically lie him down on his back, and split him open (right and left sides). That's a good first step, and you can check to see if he has his helipads that way.

Might want to check out some youtube vids to see how he's transformed.

Fantastic find!

Sweet dude! That is a nice find! I'm out looking for a Trypticon myself and I'd die to find one in such great shape. As for missing pieces, you might find this helpful.

There seems to be a few things that should open up but I don`t see how to go about it.

Thats the website I was looking for! Something that showed all the bits.

Do junker Tryps exist out there between the board members? Anybody have or know of any send me a pm - I'd love to get this guy up to 100%

parts are going to be expensive, especially full tilt's gun, but having him in working order is a great start, you need the radars, connectors, one track, and that gun as far as i can see
www.cobraislandtoys.com has all the accessories for any g1 including japanese and euro, also scans of the instructions that you can click on

Scared to even look at ebay for parts.... :(
probably going to be just as pricey as a complete used one.
On the plus side though, He does work really well, not much wrong with him except the missing parts and the lil bit of sticker wear.

I'm looking forward to sourcing out the lil bits though - I always loved a challenge :)

I'm piecing one together myself, yours looks a lot like mine except dirtier! Here's what you should have:

http://toybin.org/cache/1986/Decepti...ccessories.jpg

The picture is from www.toybin.org, I use that site for all my 1984-1986 lookups.

From what I can see right away you're missing:
- 2 ramps ($30)
- The little car's name is Full Tilt, you're missing his gun ($40)
- right connector ($8)
- left connector ($8)
- big double gun ($10)
- double gun holder ($10)
- single gun ($10)
- single gun holder ($10)
- radar dish ($10)

You can see his battle mode here:

City mode here:

http://toybin.org/cache/1986/Decepti...480_base_2.jpg

And how to connect it to Onslaught and Motormaster:

Whoa! I didn't know he had a feature to connect to Motormaster and Onslaught! Knowing this makes me want him more.
