Thank you again to 2005 Board member dorfsquest for providing us with some in-hand images of his surprise purchase from earlier today of Power of The Primes Wave 2 Voyager Hun-Gurr. While he did not pick up his wave mate, Elita-1, he did grab Hun-gurr and snapped a few photos to share with us. These photos show off the Decepticon Terrorcon commander from various angles as well as his twin-headed dragon mode. I'm hoping a 3rd party makes some add-on 'dragon head' knees for combiner mode.

While I am getting out of serious collecting, I love the classic combiners too much not to get Abominus. So Rippersnapper and Hun-Gurr got pre-ordered yesterday. I'm glad to see I won't be disappointed with them.

Beautiful in bot mode and torso mode,
but YIKES! the dragon mode just looks off imho

But you have to admit, it is very faithful to the G1 version.

Good AND bad.

I have no room on my shelves for this, however. I need to be choosy about who I add, and Abominus just isn't "doing it" for me.

And yet somehow Hasbro made the original 80's one still look better than this. Looks so disappointing.

G1 barely transformed and had a separate combiner head and breastplate though. This one is fully integrated.
