Transformers on Sale at Toys R Us: Human Alliance, Deluxe and Powerbots

More rejoicing from smart shoppers as Toys R Us has advertised a Transformers sale of their own starting October 15 and ending October 21. According to the flyer all Human Alliance figures have been reduced from $49.99 to $39.97, all Power Bots have been reduced from 34.99 to 24.97 and all Deluxe figures are buy one, get one 1/2 off.

I'd be more excited if the sale on HA didn't equate to only being two cents cheaper than Walmart's usual price. It still blows me away that there is a $10 difference between those store's HA pricing.

Well the best deal would be deluxes at Zellers. You don't have to buy 2.

I thin that I know the reason for the price difference.

Walmart has more "purchasing power" than Toys R Us. Thus, Walmart can buy cheaper from Hasbro and pass on the savings to the consumer.

Er... Comes out to the same, but the catch is you have to buy 2.

Mathly sans tax,

$16 + $8 = $24 for 2 = $12 each
