Platinum Soundwave, Optimus Prime & Insecticons Released in Canada

Thanks to a sighting from Cybertron.ca member Wheelwave we now know that the Platinum Editions of Soundwave, Optimus Prime & the Insecticons have been released in Canada.
All three have been sighted at a Toys"R"us store in British Columbia.

I wouldn't underestimate how much the fandom is drawn to higher priced re-reissues.
Armada Unicron was liquidated to 25$.
fans weren't interested.
1 year later he was recoloured for Energon and the fandom was buying him at the 80$ mark.
Lots of examples, for sure! :D |

With what the fandom is readily paying 3p companies for unofficial products, it was only a matter of time before Hastak caught on and started charging similar prices for products that are geared towards us.

in calgary, the insecticons set is 120.00$.......the first reissue set a couple years ago was 39.99....
so we're now apparently gullible enough to pay 80.00$ more for a spiffy box and 3 energon cubes lolz.

Yup saw them all at tru Pickering the other day. Forgot the price for Soundwave so asked to be scanned. Would have bought if was the same as reg mp sw was. I actually laughed when the guy scanned it. $219 FULL TRU. sucks bc i kind of like him. :( oh well.
