I really hope that this event happens, but the Covid modelling for December isn’t favourable.

ADVANCE TICKET PRICES
Premium Weekend Pass: Includes advance option to purchase convention exclusives on Friday night in private area, front of the line for early admission to the TFcon dealer room Saturday morning, access to TFcon programming and show floor on both days, limited to 100 people – $100
Weekend Pass: Includes early admission on Saturday, access to TFcon programming and show floor on both days -$45 in advance, $50 at the door
Deluxe Saturday Pass: Includes early admission on Saturday, access to TFcon programming and show floor – $35 in advance, $40 at the door
Saturday General Admission: Entry after 11 am, access to TFcon programming and show floor – $25
Sunday Pass: access to TFcon programming and show floor on Sunday – $20
Children between 5 and 12 are $5 for each day. There is no charge for children under 5 years of age.

So they have. I usually do the Deluxe Saturday at that door, so didn’t notice much of a difference. Can’t say I’m surprised or blame them. Lost revenue last year, general inflation, I’m sure everything costs more to do in a hotel right now, etc.

So I'm not able to purchase...

Due to current capacity restrictions in Ontario, we will need to delay the sale of Deluxe Saturday Passes until October. Sorry for the inconvenience but we need to make tickets available to people staying over at the hotel otherwise TFcon can’t happen.

And by that they mean Oct 30 it seems, not sure how they'll verify those who booked the hotel (which I did btw). Plus don't even see an option for the Saturday kids pass, wonder if that's also a part of the Oct 30 availability?

The reasoning was to allow people from out of town the opportunity to buy weekend tickets to the show so the hotel can make the money they need after being shut down for so long.

Now that that window has been provided Deluxe Saturday tickets are actually going to go on sale this Saturday.

There are extra fees associated with extra sanitization, thorough cleaning, extra hotel staffing etc...

I'm more than happy to pay for that incremental increase if it means we get a TFcon this year!
