New G1 dvd is CHEAPER in Canada!
 

The new Transformers G1 season 1 dvd by Shout!Factory is selling for 19.99 US$ on Amazon, for a June 16 release.

Best Buy's new flyer is selling it NOW for 19.99 Cdn$, which is cheaper by conversion, plus no added shipping cost if store-buying. :)

On top of that, Future Shop has advertised the same dvd for 24.99. Their price match policy is they'll pay the difference plus 10%, so it's possible to get it at Future shop for $19.49!! :eek:

$20 for all of Season 1? Or just part of it? Didn't you have to buy like 2 $80 boxsets to get all of seaon 1 before?

I think your thinking of the Season 2 & 3 collections that had the two parts each. So yes this is all of Season 1:)

And just note that Walmart has it in their flyer for next week. $24.63. I'm so glad I didn't buy it used for like $40 a few months back :)

no one is waiting for the matrix of leadership box set? I don't see the advantage to buying the individual seasons instead of just waiting for the box set.

apparently they fixed all the coloring screw ups from the originals which rhino didnt.(no more see through prime trailers,no more starscream but with thundercrackers paint scheme,no more red bb/yellow cliffjumpers,etc)the latest issue of toyfare magazine explains it all in detail between the differences.

Yeah what the deal with the Matrix Box set? Is it going to be in retail or does it have to be ordered? I can't remember if I heard a price or not?
