Shallowdarkness and I did for 3 nights. Only because it will take us 4 hours to drive to the border at least. At the moment we are going but things could change between now and then. Such as money and weather.

i actually thought about going but i will have to see how the loonie fares against the greenback when the con comes

I read an article yesterday that said the dollar is only going to drop more as the year goes on.

I booked the hotel room for 2 days, but I'm still keeping an eye out for a cheaper alternative.

I wish I could go but the drive to Chicago from NJ is just too much. Plus as chroma23 has pointed out, the CAD dollar's 10% decline makes the trip up north more compelling.

Booked the stay but like everyone else its going to depend on alot of Factors.

- Loonie on the Greenback
- Weather at the end of October
- 8 Hour drive
- Gas
- Convention fund
- The worth of going (aka any good guest)
- Life..etc..etc..

I reserved a room, but the major factors in my going will be if I can get a new job between July and September to finance the trip, and if I can get the time off of that job to make the trip.

Looks like I may be going to TFCon Chicago. :D

To the organizers, have you heard of issues with the TFCon.com website? My office is blocking the site even though I can access tfcon.ca just fine.
