Alternators Kremzeek Reshell (TFCon 2010 entry)
 

Here's my TFCon 2010 Custom entry. He's a reshell, made from a menagerie of parts including:

One Classics Mirage as the base, an extra set of Mirage arms and neck joint, a 1:24 scaled Revell "Pro-Finish" Smart Car model kit, ROTF Skids and Rampage parts, an Alternator part, Styrene, Epoxy, and Xevoz Shock Beserker parts.

Fully transformable, although, the head does have to be removed for transformation...tried to get it all to fit inside, but it was such a small cabin area, I was limited to space.

I was really caught by surprise to hear my entry announced for 2nd Place in the contest.....there really were some slick customs on the table this year.

Anyways, on to the pics. I've included some comparison pics with the base bot (Classics Mirage) and an Alternator as I promised I would do.

The removeable head is acceptable because it's electricity...he just isn't choosing to show it!

Honestly an excellent piece. Definitely deserved to win something...the genius alone of him transforming into an electric car makes perfect sense...all and all a grade A piece bro ;)

I'm never going to look at a Smart car the same way again. That is one awesome custom.

Colour me amazed on this one, great work! Very clean reshell!

Smart cars are electric? Not till 2012 right?

Oh wow, glad to see more detail on him - the TFCON pics don't really allow him to look nearly as good as he does here

Awesome job, man!
I really appreciate the homage to Steve Urkel's car. Very appropriate for TFcon 2010, considering the common link to Bumblebee's Steve Urkelisms from the script reading.
