Suggest a TFcon 2012 third party Transformer exclusive thread.
 

Some really great exclusives have come out of TFcon the last few years, many of which are basically recolors of third party sets produced in limited numbers.

So if you could see some third party toy released in a exclusive recolor at a future TFcon, what would you want to see?

Keep in mind that exclusives shouldn't be high priced so are affordable for all attendees.

I doubt anyone would buy a $600 exclusive.

Now maybe someone could use ONE of the repainted Hercules toys as an exclusive. For instance repaint Heavy Labor as Targetmaster Landfill (or one of the other Hercules members as Quickmix or Scoop), then get Mastershooter to repaint one or two of their Targetmasters to look like his guns. If you could get Mixmaster repainted as Quickmix, he could even be Canadian red and white.

For something lower cost, one of the Targetroids or the Junkion Blacksmith heads would be neat. For instance a Jetfire colored version of Targetroid Screamer or a Twincast colored version of Headmaster Broad Cast. In fiction you could have Siren's body with some reprolabels be the body of Headmaster Twincast. In fiction for the Targetroid he could be the creation of Classic Voyager Jetfire in an spark-clone attempt, he makes a little version of himself as a gun.

A simple exclusive, have Master Shooter swap the colors of their upcoming toy for Targetmaster kup, and he becomes a updated version of ehobby Barrelroller (Orion Pax's partner). Have the story that Barrel Roller has been alone ever since Orion abandoned him millions of years ago and latches onto new partners all the time.

How about we ask iGear to make their upcoming Ratchet with Toronto Ambulance decals, or Ironhide with RCMP stuff.

Yeah, I'm stealing from the customizers a couple of years....

Or for cheaper options, we can also ask iGear to make a Pipes coloured non-Huffer that they are making. Or ask the people who made the Sonicron (forget the name) to make a SOundblaster-coloured Sonicron.

How about talking with Reprolabels into making a sticker sheet for Movie Barricade, to make him look more like an ontario police car?

well...maybe get the X-transbots minibots and pull an eHobby; give them a recolour into obscure characters?

I agree with the mini-bots idea, because the exclusive has to be sufficiently different from the original. Repaint their Huffer as ehobby Road Ranger and it might be cool.

A reprolabels sticker set for movie Barricade or a RCMP version of Ironhide will look too much like the original to be marketable. Those might be good for a customizing class, but not as an exclusive.

Now if you could repaint igear Ironhide into Diaclone colors, that might be something cool and unique.

I don't know if you want to step on Botcon's toes, but there are always SG repaints. Repaint Targetroid Hot Flame as SG Rodimus, or Targetroid Screamer as Action Master Thundercracker. Those would stand out.

Well, Action Master Thundercracker works as both a SG and G1 homage of course.

Also, there are those Fansproject Casuality Insecticons. They could be repainted in ehobby Insecticon colors, or in the colors of the G1 Deluxe Insecticons.

Looking at other Fansproject molds, we could see... a G2 or RiD redeco of Munitioneer and Explorer... an orange Sandstorm redeco of Warbot Defender...
