Guess this means none of the "big three" shows being held in Burlington anymore? Well, at least I have a few months to try and work out transit.

Also, seeing as how it's on Remembrance Day, are we going to try and mark a minute of silence?

Cool! Too bad it's not in Burlington anymore but happy there's another convention to go to!

Yay! 1 week before my birthday. I hope guys will bring me lots of presents. :D

Boo! Richmond Hill. I was hoping for the Doubletree again. Last time I drove down there for HeCon I almost got in an accident! Twice! Once while going there: some old asshole decides to cut right in front of me as I was approaching a red light in the pouring rain and I didn't have enough time to stop. Causing me to hydroplane into the next lane in order to avoid hitting him. All because he was too stupid to see his lane ended into right turn. And then again on the way back: some dickhead with road rage and no understanding of the rules of the road tried to run me off of it. Needless to say, my first trip to Richmond Hill was not entirely pleasant because of those 2 incidents.

Although I'll probably still go down there. I just hope it's not raining or snowing that day.

Don't get me started on Burlington, especially the Boston Pizza there :argh:

We can have a firing squad of action figures launching toy missiles upwards.

Just a reminder to people attending this show, there's currently construction on Highway 7 around Leslie and near the hotel. They're building a dedicated Viva/YRT bus lane in the middle of HWY 7, and expect lanes closures/road work.

To keep up with the progress and how it might affect your commute to AFX, you can bookmark their weekly status report blog here: http://www.vivanext.com/930

As far as we know, the construction may not be a big of a deal by the time AFX rolls around.

And for the locals in Markham/Richmond Hill area, feel free to let us know about any shortcuts/detours you suggest, or if the traffic flows is getting worse or better
