Hello folks. This thread is an attempt to facilitate trading (or buying/selling) cards for the Transformers TCG between anyone here on the board (not just with me). This might be a little experimental, and if people have a better method to do this, please suggest.


I am imagining most people are looking to trade duplicates for equal rarity wants within their region, so perhaps stating whereabouts you are, what you have available and what you're looking for will be the best start!


I'm in the Guelph-Kitchener region.

Are the cards available in Canada yet? I've been hitting the stores looking but have come up empty-handed. and I think this thread is a good idea.

It certainly hasn't been in Canada for very long, and the Autobot Starter set has yet to arrive.


I've only played a handful of times but I'm hooked too. It really is such an interesting game with several facets to consider in play.


Of course, there's also the collectibility of the character cards.

If anyone knows:
Do the Autobot Starter Packs contain the exact same cards, or do the battle packs vary?


Hound:
How many Booster Packs and/or boxes did you acquire before your original post, such that you only seem to need 10 cards?
(Just curious to know if I should invest in a full booster box (or 2)).

The Starter Set comes with the same cards in each pack - there is no variability in them. The Metroplex Set, while having its own set of cards, will also always have the same cards in them.


Only the booster packs have random cards in them. Well, the characters are random. The 7 battlecards within a booster will always provide you with 4 commons, 2 uncommons, a 1 rare.


I purchased 1 box of boosters (30 packs) initially, and then bought 2 more packs later which gave me one more duplicate.


Oh, I need more than 10 cards! However, I only posted the cards I needed of the same rarity for which I had cards to trade away. At the time I didn't think there was any point in asking for rare cards when I only had common and uncommon cards to trade away.


I'm not opposed to paying a bit for some cards if needed or able to, but ideally, I'd like to trade as many duplicates for what I need first. I know I'm not going to be able to get every card. Besides, there are more waves coming!

Does having all the dinobots together increase power or can fight predaking??

No. Playing all Dinobots doesn't increase power or grant specific advantages vs. Predaking. However, they do synergize very well with each other regarding Bold boosting and healing. Snarl, Sludge, and Grimlock are a beast together.


You wouldn't happen to have a Nemesis Prime, would ya?

So ive got 58 of the 81playing cards
And 15 of the 40 players.
How in terms of trading shall it be??
IE . can you trade your deck cards for player cards??
As ive got 58 of the 81
Dont really want to trade from that
But the extras i got would it be the same to trade some of those cards for the foil player cards??
Also does having lets say all the insecticons make your playing options better because you have ransack, barrage, chopshop, jickback, shrapnel, bombshell.
Please enlighten me??

I can hook you up with a Barrage if you still need it, Hound.

I'm still working on opening my packs -- I'm on my second booster box -- and I'm not fully sure what I need yet. Definitely some character cards. I doubt I will bother with the super-rare cards. Once I get through my cards I will definitely post to try to trade for cards!

I wouldn't mind doing this at all as I have several commons and uncommons to spare with ease. Alas, it would have to be in bulk to make it worth for me and any of you to ship. Shipping to Canada is at least $10 USD (about $13 CAD for you all to the U.S, if I recall correctly).

Can you believe I only need 6 cards to complete the 81 cards
Of how much should I charge on my extra character cards
Is sending them in a bubble mailer good??
The cards are naturally curved so any thoughts would help.
Also have numerous action cards I will try to look over what people need as I have at least 100 plus extra cards shame I didn't get all the cards

Have an extra Promo Omega Supreme and Wave 1 RT Cosmos. Looking for Wave 2 SRT Blitzwing and SRT Starscream (Decepticon King). Have tons of extra CUR battle cards and CU character cards from both waves if required to sweeten deals.

I have a feeling most of here in Canada are waiting for wave 2 to arrive and see what we get in our packs before buying, and being able to trade for, specific wave 2 stuff. I know I'm waiting to see what I get in my box first.


That said, it's awfully painful to wait while I see others on youtube playing games with the combiners.


On the positive note, I did get my Omega Supreme in the mail today! :raisetheroof:

I am still missing small base cards after dropping a whack of cash on these already. 002, 035, 041, 044, 049, 050, 073, 077.

Missing the larger player cards is kind of expected but their randomization is ridiculous. Especially when compared to things like Hockey or Baseball Cards.

I have these extra character cards:

Stumbled on this thread by random chance. I will try and make a list of my trades and wants in the next while. I broke down today and online ordered a box of both Wave 1 and Wave 2 boosters. I am collecting this for the art and not to play competitively. Very close to a full Wave 1 set. I have all the Battles and I am short only a few SR Bots. I will make my list after my cases arrive. I also saw on Amazon that the Devastator Deck drops next week on Apr. 9.
