Thanks to cybertron.ca member Metroplex79 for letting us know about a Transformers sale at Toys R Us. Starting Friday Sept. 20th-26th All Transformers $59.99 and under will be 25% off. This sale excludes clearance, Weaponizers, Playskool, and Kre-O items.

Not a great sale, but at least it's something. It looks like TRU is ensuring the high ticketed items are sold at regular price. Or maybe they're going to have a sale on them at a future date.

Meh..... Its going to take TRU 9 years to decide to put some of those "high ticketed items" on any kind of sale. But thanks for the news on the other items at least.

Going to wait for Metroplex to go on sale... if there's any left by that time. Not sure if its going to be a shelfwarmer like everyone says. Can't recall if The Millenineum Falcon went on sale, but it didnt last long on the shelves.

There's still about 5 or 6 of the Falcons left at our local TRU, ninjha. There's been sales for them off and on a few times over the past year, usually at a specific price, not part of a %-off sale. It might eventually go on clearance, but for the regular price it's not going anywhere now anymore. I would guess the same might happen with Metroplex, especially if they get a large stock and if other stores like Walmart, Target, Costco get them in too. Although Metroplex's price actually looks reasonable next to the recent large SW Vintage vehicles that have come out!

I can price adjust on the kreos I just got and finally pick up the combiners. Sweet enough for me.

I have seen those large Millenium Falcons around for years. They are always at every TRU I visit and they do go on sale. But even on sale they cost a fortune.

Why can we not get an Ark or Nemisis playset that size. :)
