Surprise Vancouver got something new first! jigga79 has found the new Hunt for the Decepticons 2 pack sets, they retail for $24.99 each.

The sets are as follows: Roterwash Rumble: Arcee & Tailwhip, Hunters Rumble: Sideswipe & Barricade, Crash Landing Attack: Bumblebee & Thrust, and finally, High Speed Spy Battle: The Twins & Sideways.

wow. all [god awful] repaints of existing molds... (except thrust? cant tell if thats a new mold or not, kinda looks like breakaways feet)

Will be getting the Arcee one, because the takara Elita-1 is in that deco so i'll have two combination options.

Only one that remotely interests me is the Arcee & Tailwhip set, but chances are good I'll be passing on all of these. :rolleyes:

ROTF Thrust is Breakaway with a new head. So yeah they're all repaints.

The only really garish ones are BB, Barricade, and Sideswipe. The others aren't bad.

Saw these at work today. The Sideways looks pretty nice actually. The red torso has been replaced with black, complete with silver and red paint apps! Some slight battle damage here and there rounds out a nice updated paint scheme. Might actually pick this one up.

Barricade is a cop car. And that is what cop cars look like around most of the planet.

Ontario Provincial Police cruisers used to be white, but have switched back to black (with white doors I believe) in the last year or two.

Many municipalities who have their own police force (in Mid-west Ont anyway) are white with red and blue logos/markings which do closely resemble a few cab companies in the area. I find myself doing double takes to see if it's a cop or a cab.

It's not used in Canada or the US. But in Asia and Europe neon check patterns or stripes are used. The barricade repaint and Tail whip are supposed to look like Chinese PSP vehicles.
