When removing a Want because you now have it, you are giving these choices

- a forum
- ebay
- Amazon
- private sale
- crave
- other

Shouldn't there be an option for Retail? (brick&mortar)
Remove Crave from it now?

Good point, razin. We'll add an option for retail stores.

So Hobbyist Prime just posted the mid 2000s Go-Bots catalogues and we need some feedback.

Hasbro bought up that brand. They put out some kid toys under the name. Then half way through they co-brand them as Transformers. All in a Gobot category with the originals, half and half or all TFs?

So we've been talking with some of the ex-Crave users about setting up a Collector Advisory Committee to help guide site policy by ensuring we are constantly in touch with the needs of our growing community.

You can see the genesis conversation over here:
http://www.facebook.com/shelflifex/p...82873521724854

We've just added another programmer to our team to help speed things up on the marketplace (welcome Kiyan!) and we'll be doing strategy sessions next week to firm up a lot of the buying/selling rules and operational procedures. Within a week of that we'll be setting up a private thread on our site to convene the committee and informally engage a small group of 5-10 Collectors and possibly a few Vendors to bulletproof our ideas on an ongoing basis.

No big thing, but if you feel like you have your head wrapped around the scene, have some well though out opinions and want to shape the future of collecting hollar at us and we'll put you on the list.

Cheers!

I don't know if I'm qualified, but wouldn't mind throwing my hat in the ring with respect to that advisory committee.

Is there some application I'd have to fill out?

Thanks for volunteering, Bruticus82. It's not necessary to fill in an application. We're going to be hand-picking people who show interest.

Major Update!

One of the most common complaints that we've heard from you guys about ShelfLife is that Collect mode is confusing. We've just revamped how Collect mode works, and I have to say, it's damn handy.

When you go to Collect mode now, you'll see 4 new buttons:

These control which products you see when browsing catalogs. In the image above, "Wants" is toggled, so I'm only being shown the products that I want.

Give it a go and let us know what you think!
