It looks alright, but there are a lot of visible screws in both bot mode and alt mode. Also those red pieces in the ankle joints are an odd choice (Why wouldn't they just use blue to match the legs?). Oh well, hopefully they fix some of these issues in the final version along with the price as well.

I dig the Starscream head but I have the Hot Toys Prime and I can just do that with him as well so...meh.

The new pics really show off MP44. I think he'll be worth the Japanese etailer price, to me at least. Everyone has their own priorities.

I think MP44 looks amazing, the accessories make the price worth it to me. I couldn't help but picture MP44 squared off against MP36 on my shelf while seeing Optimus set on the stand axe in hand. Wow.

Chunky backpack. Seriously, the whole torso is just one big cube as though the cab never transformed. Between that, the gappy knees when bent, some undesirable accessories with that ridiculous price. Easy pass still.
