My company is not far away from that address, also on Queen street, so I once walked there during lunch time...hoping to see the store directly. That was almost 1 year ago, and judging from outside, I couldn't see NMC was still in business: no name, no brand, just a close door in a poor neighbourhood. (there were some homeless shelter nearby)

Damn.... I have a couple of preorders there too. That was a very good read. Thanks for sharing. I saw the same on other sites. I hope I actually get my stuff.

I could totally be wrong but I was under the impression that there was a new owner or worker.
I made some orders from NMC over the last few months and things have gone mostly smoothly. I still haven't got all f the orders through as a few figures are still to be released but the biggies like Skylynx shipped out no issues in good time

oh man Northman Collectibles. I read the thread. What a clusterfuck.

A friend of mine has been waiting on his order for Scorponok for over 6 months now. The "release date" came and went, now it says June. He contacted the owner and he said he was rude. I was like "please dont tell me you went with Northman Collectibles" and he said "hey yeah, how did you know?"

I wish i was kidding.

Glad to hear. Most recent horror stories I heard were from.sept-nov so not that recently.

I've had good experiences with my orders from NMC, as well as good communication from them. My last order from boxing day still hasn't shipped, but they've been responsive, and said they have a backlog of orders, and covid precautions have slowed fulfillment. We'll see how it goes, but I'm still cautiously optimistic.

Update: I should have checked my email before posting, because NMC just shipped out part of my last order, and upgraded the shipping speed as an apology. I will add, however, that none of the items I've ordered from them have been pre-orders.

I made my first purchase with NMC and still haven't received anything. It was a preorder for G2 Megatron and Sandstorm. I emailed them asking if the items were coming in stock soon as other retailers have already gotten them and I got a generic copy and paste answer. I just emailed them again asking if I could cancel my preorders and get a refund but I doubt it will happen. Will let you guys know if I ever get my items. Their preorder estimated date was December 2020 and I made my order in November. It's already the end of January and they won't even write me back except copy and paste. No idea if they will get the transformers in stock, and no option for a refund or cancellation if they don't? :(

For the record I ordered a Slave 1 that was in stock and received it in ten days. No problems and good communication.
