Evolution of a Hero Bumblebee 2 pack in Canada

I reported this in the Quebec sightings thread but I figured I would put it here too. It seems that the originally Target Exclusive Evolution of a Hero Bumblebee 2-Pack has shown up in Zellers. I found like 5 of them but without the "Only at (O)" Logo on the box. Selling for $34.99 and an interesting twist... english only on the box.

Here is a picture of it with the bill

Crazy huh?.... does it mean Zellers might get the basics.......?

Maybe Target is giving their overstock to Zellers for the holiday season..... I dunno (Let the speculation begin). But the lack of french anywhere on the box leads me to believe that. I wonder how long it will last before they get pulled...... hrrmmm....

According to a source, Target is trying to buy HBC (Hudson Bay' Company), it's why we have seen sightings of the Target Basics at Maxi and Cie and also Target Exclusive Lego's at Zellers in the past months too....... interesting developments.

Interesting but 34.94 for a deluxe two pack!!! They had single deluxe for 14.97 this fall, so the evolution of a hero be more than twice the price of a single. I thought the two paks be at equivalent price of total of the two individual or lower.

Yes that was rumored in the past when i worked at zellers (at least 4 years ago) but don't think that was done. But Maxi & cie have nothing to do with target, it's a Loblaws companies lted property.

The price isn't that good...wish it was like $25, or at least $30 (the price of 2 deluxes here in Canada). Good for those who need both BB's though.

That was 2002-03 and it never went through. Instead some US billionaire bough he was to governorship of the HBC.

Oh, that's a great find! Here's hoping this is the start of something and that we'll be getting more of these exclusives thru Zellers in the future. :)

Agreed. That price doesn't make any sense!

Awesome! I don't have concept BB yet, is this one better than the regular one, like any differant paint apps other than batle damage on car panel ? Would it be worth it at 35$ (gasp!) to get the concept (I have the '76 though) ?
