What ever happened to Platinum Unicron 30th?
 

What ever happened to his release? The 30th anniversary of the movie one.

Seems like he should've been out at retail for close to a year now.

What happened? We got the movie heroes gift set but never got Unicron.

I know he's at some specialty stores and ebay online but why nothing at TRU, Wal-Mart, Amazon??

Am I the only one wondering this lol

I was also waiting for it too, I also heard there was a Primus from somewhere.

Yeah, it's the TRU Exclusive TLK Cybertron figure. It made it to U.S. TRU stores but not to ours as of yet.

I did see the set being sold by TFSource at TFCon, but it looks like it never hit mass retail. Maybe because the Platinum Edition line never performed very well and seems to have been replaced by Transformers Tribute now anyway.

When are we ever gonna receive an updated version of Unicron? The figure is so dated and has been repainted way too many times already. I’d love to see a 3P company take a shot at Unicron, heck even a new version from Hasbro would be welcomed.
