2010 Cybertron.ca SickKids Hospital Charity Project
 

I want to issue a challenge to our boards kitbashers! I want to do a group themed project to sell with 100% of the money raised will go to SickKids Hospital in Toronto. (a la TFW's Make a Wish Foundation project)

SickKids holds a special place in my heart because my older brother Tom was in and out of SickKids for many years. When he was born his tongue was fused to the bottom of his mouth. Sick Kids did the surgery and provided him with speech therapy.

I'm calling on cybertron.ca's elite and hopefully we can do something very special for a very special hospital.

Thanks for reading and if anyone wants on board post in this thread and PM me. When we get all the customizers on board we can work towards getting a group theme ;)

Just a thought off the top of my head, but wouldn't it be appropriate to do Defensor in Toronto colours? For example, Hot Spot in the colours of a TO fire truck, and First Aid as a sick kids ambulance.....

I'm still new to the whole kitbashing thing so I'll let the masters have at it. I don't think I'd be able to make a high enough quality custom to donate for charity. I'll keep an eye on this just in case, though.

Im a paramedic with toronto. you would have to use our colours since we do all the calls. sick kids doesnt have their own ambulances per se. they have some transfer units.

let me know and i can get you as many pics of every angle of our ambulances as anyone wants.

but i want a copy of first aid in that scheme =P

I'm still a practising kitbasher, but this is something I can help donote money for if some of our bashers need help...
Programs like these are something I highly support (I donate monthly to to the Children's Hospital here for example...)

I'd be down.

Great idea, but hte only problem I would see with that is people would expect it to combine.
That would be very hard to get done as a group project.

What about holding a silent auction at TFCon?
