I would have gotten them till I saw the $$$

WoW. I would have liked this set.
Wish I would have been aware of it back in 2013.
But, even then, I'd be hesitating and unsure 'cos of the price...

Feels like it should be news out here? Was this reported before?

It's written in the links, there are several connections to Canada, one of the big ones being that Peter Cullen was born and raised in Montreal, Canada.

Finally a TF coin that's actually worth something. Take that Takara! :P

Ordered the "transforming" one.

I'm not up on the current IDW artists... is the art by one of them? The info only says who did the reverse side Queen art (unless I misread it?).

Sara Pitre-Durocher did the face side. She's one of IDW's main artists right now.

They made stuff for DC comics and Star Trek, it’s neat to see Transformers be ‘worthy’ of that treatment.

I remember it was a pretty big deal when they first did the superman coins. I was driving around hunting them down to complete the set.

Awesome.

If they wrote the Queen's name in Cybertronian like Optimus, I probably would be amused enough to buy one already... As is... Still considering...

I was just about to buy the cheaper coin when thought why not take a look at the more expensive coin? I was blown away by that coin's glowing eyes and detail.

When I looked back at the cheaper coin, I now strangely found it wanting.

Didn't buy the cheaper coin yet.
