Can we hope to see more Reissue G1 with the Generations line?

So with the Universe line we saw Soundwave w/ Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ratbat, Optimus Prime, Perceptor, Insecticons and last but not least, Blaster w/ Eject, Ramhorn, Steeljaw all get reissued.

These were all great as their previous reissues are quite pricey compared to the Universe line.

So for myself I hope to see this trend continued for the Generations line, maybe reissue some from the Takara TFC line again. Maybe Hound? or other hard to find/expensive ones.

What do you guys think?

Possible...there may be one or two but usually re-issue figures don't sell well at all so Hasbro is hesitant to do them

Might happen, but I doubt it.

It could happen with figures that Hasbro themselves hasn't reissued yet in North America, figures that have been Takara only reissued up to this point. But I wouldn't expect a lot of them.

Certainly reissues that Hasbro did in the past 5 of 10 years probably wouldn't be justified in re-re-issuing.

:D So then Omega Supreme, Trailbreaker, Metroplex, Sky Lynx, Overkill, Slugfest, Rumble, Frenzy, Ironhide, Ratchet and the Predacons are all fair game? ;):p

I can't see many more G1 figures for Hasbro to re-issue that haven't already been re-issued. I'd love to see a Metroplex or an Omega Supreme but for the price they'd put them out for, they won't sell well.

Personally, i'd be happy with a Energon Omega Supreme done in G1 colours.

I'd like to see a minibot reissue, like the Takara TFC one, not the Encore release (already have that one). The TFC is hard to find and damn expensive. Sure I could track down orig G1s for decent prices, but they wouldnt be in prestine condition.

Well, I doubt we'll see the bigger ones, and with the predacons out this year again I don't think it'll be them.

Trailbreaker, Ironhide, and Ratchet are possibles I suppose...

I actually submitted a similar question for the Hasbro Panel at last weeks TFcon... I'm really curious to know as well if we will ever seen any more G1 re-issues.

Actually, with the amount of people who say they'd love to get a Fortress Maximus but can't afford it, Hasbro might make some nice dough putting him out on the market again.

I mean, for the price of say the Predaking reissue, I think every collector who doesn't already have one (most of us) would jump on this.
