Power of the Primes Deluxe Novastar Released in Canada

1 Attachment(s)
Thanks to board member Alexander Quinn we have a confirmed sighting of the Transformers Power of the Primes Deluxe Novastar figure hitting Canadian shelves. This is the lone new figure in the fourth wave of POTP deluxes.

The figure was spotted in ToysRus in the Barrie area of Ontario.

If you spot this figure or any others be sure to let us and your fellow fans know over in the sightings forum.

Happy hunting

Picked mine up at TRU a couple of days ago. Great addition to the FemBots, plus you can put Moonracer's gun into
Novastar's which is a neat feature.

Does it still have the combiner port?

Grabbed my novastars a couple days ago at the burlington tru, I'll go back tomorrow to price adjust. Not a very good figure imo, horrible feet, gigantic backpack, and those stupid pegs on the bottom of the alt mode that prevents the back wheels from touching the ground. This figure could have been so much better but they screwed up with this and it's mold mates.

She does but the retool of this mold for siege had it removed so there will be no OG Fembots combiner unfortunately.

Agreed. I removed the windshield on one of them and Moonracer. She looks a bit better

Thanks. This mold is indeed bad... I don't wish to buy more repaint of it, even from Siege line.

Yes, so right, it is bad.

I’m okay with the mold in female robot mode. Damn it, in vehicle mode, it’s so awful.

You don't like the Cybertronian stretched limo look? :)

Haha...that is an excellent description of their vehicle mode.

Was hoping the same but I doubt we will so I "made" 2 of my own. I did see a kit on FB this morning that is supposed to be a full combiner using just the 3 of them

I considered buying two of moonracer and her, but don’t like the mold enough to have four of it.

That's exactly what I did but to be honest I can't stand the sight of them as legs so when I'm done my customs I'll use them for combined mode and leave it that way and have the other two with their S2 partners

Who are you using to make the customs, and who are you making the customs into?

It's a surprise so to speak for a possible upcoming event but I'll say they shouldn't have bothered making this POTP figure when the RTS version was so much better ;)

EDIT: they aren't official TF characters. Names are from this twisted noodle of mine

Had to go back into the archives to see who they were, forgot about those female Autobots that got minor roles in that single G1 episode.

A better female Autobot mold from Hasbro/Takara would be nice and very appreciated.

Re: Power of the Primes Deluxe Novastar Released in Canada

I think that I am officially done with Tak/Tomy/Hasbro. I am more and more finding myself drawn to third-party TFs. Got FT-10 Phoenix and TW-C07 Green Constructor with TW-C07F Weathered Yellow on pre-order from BBTS. Just bought DX9 D08 Gewalt and DX9 D05 Chigurh.

I will create a battle diorama with these figures, but I am selling the TW-C07 Green Constructor and will add another Autobot combiner like MT Quantron or FT-20 Terminus Giganticus Aegis Sentinel A&B to aid FT-10 Phoenix in the battle for peace. The horrid movies really ruined it for me. I am happy to say goodbye to licensed TFs for good. I must admit though that I find the Transformers Studio Series Deluxe Drift with Mini Dinobots exceptionally cute for all the right reasons.
