Alternate AOE Voyager Grimlock weapon storage.
 

Now, you can attach the whole mace to the end of the tail, but it look ridiculous with that long thin handle hanging off the back. So you can pop the handle off and leave Grimmy with a blunt club-like tail, but what to do with the mace handle?

I was looking at the huge gap between the mace piece and the legs and this is what I came up with:

I like it. I think it both eliminates an extraneous part and fills out the tail nicely.

I like this idea. It's almost like it was the intended way to store the thing but got lost in the process.
